Family First Global Emergency Relief for Pakistan’s Flood-Hit Families

FFG and FOFF bring hope to flood-affected families in Pakistan

August 2025| Islamabad, Pakistan — Family First Global (FFG), in partnership with Families for Pakistan (FFPak), has launched an emergency relief campaign following the devastating floods that hit Pakistan during the July 2025 monsoon season.

Heavy rains in July brought over 40% more rainfall than normal, triggering severe flooding across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir. In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, overflowing rivers and blocked drainage systems submerged entire neighborhoods. The worst-hit areas were informal settlements and low-income communities already living on the edge.

In response, Families for Pakistan quickly assessed the hardest-hit areas to understand the most urgent needs. The team is currently mobilizing with their partners and supporters to deliver targeted, compassionate aid where it’s needed most.

Hon. Gregory Slayton, Global Chairman of Family First Global, appealed to the international community to offer both spiritual and material support.

“We ask for your prayers for the families who are suffering and for your support, as we stand with them. We believe strong families are the cornerstone of every nation. When disaster strikes, we don’t look away, we respond with compassion and action.”

The joint response will provide:

  • Emergency relief: food, clean water, shelter, and hygiene kits
  • Rehabilitation: repair of latrines and provision of bedding
  • Protection: focused support for women, children, and persons with disabilities
  • Recovery: livelihood support and basic healthcare access

Recent flooding impacted many communities in Pakistan

Family First’s leadership in Asia also affirmed the spirit of unity that connects communities across the region. Mr. Glenn Yu, Chairman for Asia, shared this call to solidarity.

“We are one family across Asia. When one part suffers, we all feel it. Let’s come together and remind our brothers and sisters in Pakistan that they are not alone.”

On the ground, Families for Pakistan has been working directly with community leaders, pastors, and volunteers to reach those in need. Dr. Raj Bhatti, Chairman of Families for Pakistan, highlighted the urgency of ongoing support.

“Our assessment teams witnessed firsthand the scale of destruction in these communities. Many families lost everything in a matter of hours. With the right support, we can help them rebuild, not just their homes, but their hope.”

To make global support easier and more coordinated, FFG and FFPak have launched a centralized GoFundMe campaign. This platform allows individuals, churches, and partner organizations around the world to contribute with transparency and speed. 100% of donations will go directly to the field response, managed by Families for Pakistan. All contributions are tax-deductible.
