Family First Global 2024 Mid-Year Report

Millions of Families Touched, Blessed, and Served in Asia, Europe, and North America so Far in 2024

July 2024, Dallas Texas ― As we reach the midpoint of 2024, the Fellowship of Fathers Foundation and its international partner Family First Global celebrate our FFG Nations’ remarkable achievements thus far this year. Each FFG Nation has made significant strides in their mission to help large numbers of families grow stronger, happier, and more successful despite the significant challenges each of our FFG Nations faces.

The Honorable Gregory Slayton, Global Chairman of Family First Global, reflected on the organization’s progress:

“So far this year, we’ve served millions of families across Asia, and we’ve strengthened our efforts in Europe through our partnership with Tato.net, which is the largest faith-based pro-family/pro-marriage charity in Poland and Ukraine. We salute all of our FFG national leaders in each FFG nation for the amazing work they are doing for families in their nations. We also thank all our partners worldwide, and we specifically thank our Heavenly Father for His many blessings…so that we might bless so many families worldwide. Our dedication is unwavering; we’re committed to positively impacting families worldwide.”

Here are some of the highlights from different FFG Nations through the first half of 2024:

Family First Indonesia YouVersion Devotional 2024

Family First Indonesia continues to expand its influence, opening new doors for online ministry and supporting parents in the marketplace. They recently launched the Family as a Team Devotional Part 1 in Bahasa Indonesia on the YouVersion Bible App, which has 13 million Indonesian users.

Their collaboration with Indonesia’s Association of Christian Schools helped educators and parents’ families through a webinar series from January to July 2024. They have also conducted webinars on Christian Singleness and Teens’ Mental Health and are currently developing pre-marital and post-marital guidance.

For Family First Japan, the focus remains on young families through premarital counseling. Their counseling is open to engaged couples regardless of religious affiliations. They also offer robust online and in-person platforms for dads, empowering fathers to be more present. Their Dad’s Network allows Japanese fathers to share their fears, feelings, and failures, a rarity in the country’s culture.

Family First Japan 2024 Leadership Summit 360 Preps

Family First Japan is also organizing the 2024 Tokyo Leadership Summit 360 on November 7, 2024. This event will be modeled after the successful LS360s held in 2019 and 2022 in Singapore, which were both sold out and highly impactful. Patrick Gelsinger, CEO of Intel, will be the Keynote Speaker. He will be joined by senior Japanese business, government, and community leaders. For more information, please email: info@familyfirstjapan.org.

Pray for Japan 2024

Japan continues to need spiritual support, especially during these challenging times. To address this, we’ve launched Pray for Asia to unite people of faith globally to pray fervently for one nation at a time, beginning with Japan. Known as a “Missionary Graveyard” for 400 years, Japan now faces a crisis of rapid demographic decline, a huge militarily aggressive neighbor, and a growing sense of uncertainty among its young adults. Join us and believers worldwide in 40 days of prayer and fasting to uplift Japan from September 29th to November 7th. Sign up with your church or Christian group at www.prayforasia.org and stand with us in prayer.

Family First Myanmar 2024 Activities

Family First Myanmar supports besieged communities, helping villages devastated by the civil war. It continues to help couples develop stronger marriages while offering trauma survival services. They also share resources and provide basic assistance in areas that have been badly hurt by the junta’s military attacks, which have included carpet bombing of defenseless Christian villages.

For the team at Families for Pakistan, the Misali Gharana (Exemplary Family) TV show has become a beacon of hope, now reaching around 5 million Urdu-speaking families weekly through Isaac TV. Thanks to its profound impact, Isaac TV has generously expanded the show to three key timeslots: 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM on Sundays, and 3:00 AM every Monday. With these new timeslots, we have the incredible opportunity to touch the lives of many more millions of Urdu-speaking households across Isaac TV’s global broadcast network and other platforms such as YouTube, their website, and other social media channels.

Families for Pakistan 2024 Programs

In addition, the Families for Pakistan team conducts marriage and parenting seminars and workshops at large churches throughout Pakistan nearly every weekend. Amidst ongoing challenges, including overt persecution, the Christian community in Pakistan deeply values your prayers and support.
